About The Role

NAZZTEC is seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to lead the development and technical evolution of its corporate website. This freelance, project-based role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer to take ownership of the website’s architecture, design implementation, and optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related technologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, responsive, and secure websites.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business strategists and UI/UX designers, will be essential to transforming the existing website into a modern, enterprise-grade digital platform that is SEO-friendly, fast, and highly secure.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, with a strong background in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Expertise in custom theme and plugin development, API integrations, and website performance optimization is essential.



Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of website security best practices, SEO techniques, and responsive web design.

Experience working on enterprise or corporate websites, especially within the IT, cybersecurity, or technology consulting sectors, will be considered a significant advantage. Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites ensuring they align with business and design requirements. Build and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins, creating reusable and scalable components for future use. Manage the architecture of the website, including CMS structure and content hierarchy, to ensure an intuitive user experience.

Collaborate with UI/UX teams to convert designs into fully responsive, pixel-perfect pages optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, analytics, and other business tools to enhance website functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, maintaining website security and performance.

Optimize website speed by implementing best practices for Core Web Vitals, image compression, caching, and script management. Conduct website migrations, deployments, and support activities, including DNS, SSL, and hosting configurations.



Ensure the website adheres to SEO best practices through technical and on-page optimization.

Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins, and implement security hardening measures to protect against vulnerabilities. Document technical processes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams for ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
