Senior Waiter

Owns an assigned section, including the busiest tables, regulars, large groups and special reservations. Greets guests, takes orders, enters them correctly on the POS, times courses, and closes bills accurately. Knows the full food, drinks and bar menu well enough to guide guests confidently, suggest pairings, upsell drinks and desserts, and answer allergen and ingredient questions without checking.

Directs and checks the waiters and runners working the section, and trains and coaches them on the floor. Is accountable for the section's service standard, not just their own tasks. Resolves guest complaints at the table and escalates comps, voids and refunds to the Floor Captain.

Leads pre-shift checks on the section and supports opening and closing duties.



Stands in for the Floor Captain during breaks or absence when asked. Reports to the Floor Captain.

Salary - Rs. 22,000/month. Tips, bonus. PF and ESI.

3+ years in restaurant service, at least 1 year handling a section on your own. Positive spoken English. Working knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails. Comfortable with POS billing. Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, including peak season. Well groomed, with a friendly, calm manner under pressure. Previous employer reference required.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 per month
