Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Talend Consultant with strong expertise in enterprise data integration, ETL/ELT, and middleware technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting scalable integration and data solutions using Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud .

The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Talend-based ETL/ELT solutions and data pipelines .
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable integration solutions.
- Develop and manage integrations across APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and cloud platforms .
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Monitor and support production Talend jobs, including incident analysis, root-cause investigation, and resolution.
- Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, mapping documents, and implementation documentation .
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, business stakeholders, QA, and production support teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies , estimation, sprint planning, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational development, integration, security, data governance, and coding standards .
- Identify opportunities to optimize ETL processes, improve performance,



and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, ETL/ELT, middleware, or data engineering environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration (TDI) and Talend Cloud .
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, SQL/PL-SQL, and scripting .
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL , or equivalent.
- Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs .
- Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Good understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data integration architecture, and ETL best practices .
- Experience with job scheduling, workflow automation, monitoring, and production support tools.
- Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow .
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment .
- Talend certification is an added advantage.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline .

- Solid understanding of data quality, data transformation, and integration best practices.
- Experience working with cloud-based data and integration environments.
- Ability to independently analyze complex integration issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong documentation, communication, and technical mentoring skills.
