Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Surveyor to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveys, setting out works, maintaining survey records, and ensuring that construction activities are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct land, topographical, boundary, and construction surveys at project sites.
- Carry out accurate setting-out works for foundations, columns, walls, roads, levels, and other structural elements.
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, grid lines, and control points.
- Take accurate measurements and levels using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
- Verify dimensions, coordinates, levels, alignments, and elevations as per approved drawings.
- Interpret and work with survey drawings, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and site plans.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, Consultants, and contractors to resolve surveying-related issues.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure that work is carried out according to the required levels, alignment, and dimensions.
- Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate as-built records.
- Prepare survey reports, measurement records, field notes, and other required documentation.
- Check and maintain surveying instruments and ensure their proper calibration and working condition.




- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the concerned authority.
- Assist the project team in quantity measurements and site verification when required.
- Maintain proper records of all survey data for future reference.
- Supervise and guide junior surveyors and survey assistants.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction surveying.
- Strong hands-on experience with Total Station and Auto Level.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read engineering and construction drawings.
- Good understanding of construction levels, coordinates, alignment, and setting-out procedures.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently at construction sites.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel between project sites as required.

Preferred
- Experience in residential and villa construction projects.
- Experience handling surveying activities independently from initial setting-out through completion.
- Knowledge of modern surveying equipment and techniques.
