About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will: Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications: 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline. 4 years of software engineering experience. 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. - CMDB Data Quality Troubleshoot Failures: Diagnose errors related to credentials, network access permissions, or discovery log errors. Drive CMDB health initiatives including completeness, correctness, compliance, and relationship accuracy. Implement solutions to remediate stale CIs, duplicate records, orphaned relationships, and data quality gaps. Design scalable automation for CMDB governance and configuration management processes. Collaborate with Asset Management, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams to improve configuration data quality. ServiceNow Discovery &
- CMDB Engineering Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Discovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
Build
Third-Party Integrations: Connect ServiceNow with external data sources like Microsoft Azure, AWS, SCCM, and SolarWinds using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and web services.
Manage Discovery Schedules: Create, update, and manage horizontal, cloud, and serverless discovery schedules.
Build Custom Patterns: Develop customized discovery probes, sensors,
and patterns to capture niche hardware, software, and application dependencies. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery and/or ITOM.
