Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET) with a strong background in US Healthcare interoperability and compliance standards. In this role, you will design, develop, and scale mission-critical backend services and APIs that handle sensitive health data.
You will lead the integration of healthcare protocols such as HL7 (v2/v3) and FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, data privacy guidelines, and modern enterprise architecture best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Development
- Architect, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices and RESTful APIs using C# / .NET (Core / 6+).
- Design robust integration pipelines to ingest, transform, validate, and exchange healthcare data across diverse EHR/EMR platforms and payer/provider systems.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and caching mechanisms (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases) for performance and high availability.
Healthcare Interoperability & Compliance
- Implement and manage data exchange pipelines utilizing HL7 standards (v2.x, v3, CDA/C-CDA) and HL7 FHIR (STU3 / R4) resources.
- Ensure all architecture, data storage, transit, and integration workflows strictly comply with HIPAA, HITECH, and US healthcare regulatory guidelines.
- Work with healthcare terminology and coding systems (e.g., LOINC, SNOMED-CT, ICD-10, CPT, RxNorm).
- Implement robust auditing, logging,
role-based access control (RBAC), and encryption protocols for Protected Health Information (PHI).
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical knowledge sharing.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, QA engineers, and Clinical/Compliance stakeholders to refine requirements and deliverables.
- Drive CI/CD automation, unit/integration testing, and operational monitoring in cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on enterprise backend systems using C# / .NET Core / .NET 6+.
- Healthcare Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience working with HL7 (v2/v3), FHIR (REST API specs & JSON/XML resource models), and EHR/EMR integrations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of HIPAA rules regarding PHI handling, encryption at rest/in transit, and audit trails.
- API & Cloud Architecture: Deep experience building and deploying secure RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous event-driven architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or AWS SQS/SNS).
- Database Proficiency: Strong expertise with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) including complex query optimization, indexing, and transactional integrity.
- Testing & Quality: Dedication to writing clean, maintainable code covered by automated unit/integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, Moq).

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
