Overview of the Role: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Go (Golang) to join our R&D; team. In this role, you will design, build, and operate high-performance microservices that power the Data Integrity Suite, working directly with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to ship reliable, scalable SaaS capabilities to enterprise customers. You will combine strong hands-on coding with sound architectural judgment, owning services from design through production.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of software craftsmanship, distributed systems design, and SaaS product delivery — and who takes pride in building services that are rapid, resilient, and easy to operate at scale.

What you will do:

- Design, build, and operate scalable microservices in Go that power core capabilities of the our Data Integrity Suite.
- Lead the architecture of new services and features, making sound trade-offs across performance, reliability, maintainability, and time-to-market.
- Define and champion engineering best practices for Go development, API design, and microservice architecture across the team.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs, event-driven integrations, and shared libraries used across multiple product teams.
- Collaborate with product management, architects, and other engineering teams to translate SaaS product requirements into resilient,



well-tested services.
- Drive improvements in system observability, performance, and scalability through profiling, monitoring, and load testing.
- Mentor and guide engineers on Go best practices, clean code, and microservice design patterns.
- Partner with DevOps/SRE teams to ensure services are deployed, monitored, and operated reliably in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Evaluate and drive adoption of tools, frameworks, and engineering practices that improve developer productivity and service quality.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical planning, raising the bar for engineering quality across the team.

What we are looking for: Required :

- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience building and operating production services in Go (Golang).
- Proven experience designing and building microservice architectures, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, and API design.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) is required, with demonstrated experience building and operating enterprise-grade, secure backend services experience with other languages (Java, Python, .NET, etc.) is a plus but Go expertise is the priority.
- Experience building and consuming REST and/or gRPC APIs, including versioning, authentication, and error handling.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and operating SaaS services.
- Strong communication skills — able to lead technical conversations with engineers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders.




- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).

AI Skills/Knowledge:

- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) uses AI for code review, documentation, and test generation familiarity with LLM APIs or agentic workflows understands responsible AI principles including bias, security, and explainability.

Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):

- Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js — particularly for tooling or auxiliary services.
- Familiarity with message queues and event streaming platforms such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and GitOps practices.
- Background in multi-tenant SaaS architecture, data governance, or data quality platforms.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI agent frameworks as they relate to service integration.
- Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, or high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or equivalent.
