Role Description

We're looking for a Senior SEO Executive to take ownership of SEO execution and strategy across a portfolio of client accounts — technical, link building, and local SEO/AEO. This is a hands-on role: you'll be putting strategies in place yourself and driving your team to deliver against them, not just reviewing other people's work.

You'll lead a small team of SEO executives, sit directly with US clients to explain and defend your strategy, and be flexible enough to meet on US hours when it matters. You should have a full, working understanding of SEO across all its major disciplines, and the seniority to move fast and proactively without waiting to be told what to do next.

What You'll Do

Own the strategy and drive execution

- Build and drive technical SEO, link building, and local SEO/AEO strategies across a portfolio of client accounts
- Put concrete, proactive plans in place for every account — don't wait for direction, bring the direction
- Push the team to hit outcomes, not just tasks; own the results, not just the activity

Lead the team

- Lead and manage a small team of SEO executives — assign work, review output,



and hold the team accountable to deadlines and quality
- Coach junior team members on technical SEO, link building, and local SEO execution

Cover the full stack

- Bring a full, working understanding of technical SEO (site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals), link building (outreach quality and velocity), and local SEO/AEO (Google Business Profile, citations, local schema, answer-engine optimization)
- Diagnose and personally resolve technical issues, not just flag them for someone else
- Be able to personally execute everything a Junior SEO Executive does — link building, technical fixes, local SEO tasks, and on-page optimization — and step in and do it yourself when the team needs it
- Be fluent with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics, and comfortable using AI tools for research, reporting, and execution

Sit with US clients

- Lead client calls, explain strategy, defend recommendations, and walk through results with confidence
- Be versatile with scheduling to accommodate US client meetings

What We're Looking For

- Agency background where you personally executed SEO work, not just directed or advised on it
- Experience leading or managing a team of SEO executives
- Full-stack SEO knowledge: on-page SEO, technical SEO, link building,



and local SEO/AEO
- Full execution capability across link building, technical SEO, local SEO, and on-page — able to do everything a Junior SEO Executive does, not just delegate it
- Fluent with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics, and comfortable using AI tools for reporting and execution
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Direct experience working with US clients
- Flexibility to join client meetings on US hours
- A proactive, strategy-first mindset — you put plans in place and drive the team to outcomes, rather than waiting to be told what to do
- 5+ years of experience, including meaningful agency experience
