What is this position about?

bolt is looking for a Senior Report Developer to join our growing Analytics team. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, responsible for building high-quality, visually compelling dashboards and reports that drive decision-making across business teams.

You will own dashboards end to end—from understanding business problems, querying data, modeling and visualization to insight generation and root cause analysis. You will work directly with business stakeholders, handle multiple initiatives in parallel, and operate independently with minimal supervision.

What responsibilities will you have?

- Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau
- Partnering directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions
- Performing root cause analysis and deep dives to explain trends, anomalies, and performance changes on dashboards/Reports
- Writing efficient, scalable SQL queries to support dashboards and ad-hoc analysis
- Building reusable metrics, KPIs, and standardized reporting layers
- Managing and delivering multiple reporting and dashboard projects simultaneously
- Ensuring dashboards are intuitive, visually appealing,



and business-friendly, following best design practices
- Using LLM/GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate SQL development, data exploration, and documentation while ensuring accuracy
- Collaborating with Data Engineering, Analytics Teams and business stakeholders for data availability, performance, and correctness
- Taking complete ownership of assigned deliverables and drive them independently from concept to delivery

You will require the following qualifications and skills

- 5+ years of experience in Analytics, BI, or Report/Dashboard Development
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and/or Tableau
- Proven experience delivering multiple dashboards end to end
- Excellent SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, and aggregations
- Solid stakeholder communication and requirement understanding skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and translating insights into business language
- Hands-on usage of LLM / GenAI tools to improve productivity and efficiency

Nice to Have

- Experience with Databricks BI / Databricks SQL dashboards (added advantage, not mandatory)
- Experience working in SaaS or data-heavy product organizations
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema)
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Experience supporting executive or leadership-facing dashboards
