Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of food and packaging categories to ensure uninterrupted supply, best total cost of ownership, consistent quality, and compliance with McDonald’s standards. Drive inflation management, cost optimization, supplier partnerships, and support business growth through strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end procurement strategy and category management for assigned food and packaging categories.

- Be accountable for inflation management through commodity tracking, market intelligence, negotiations, hedging support, and proactive mitigation strategies.

- Identify and deliver annual cost-saving and value engineering projects without compromising quality, food safety, or customer experience.

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, contracting, and commercial negotiations.

- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Ensure uninterrupted supply through capacity planning, risk assessment, business continuity planning, and alternate supplier development.

- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Product Development teams to support business objectives and recent product launches.

- Drive supplier performance through regular business reviews, KPIs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Monitor commodity markets and provide actionable insights on pricing trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s procurement policies,



ethical sourcing standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory norms.

- Lead contract management, commercial governance, and procurement documentation.

- Support sustainability initiatives, supplier capability development, and innovation across the supply base.

- Mentor and develop procurement team members while fostering a high-performance culture.

- Experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing supplier performance.
