Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Data Replication Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and support real-time and near real-time data replication and CDC solutions using Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture and Oracle GoldenGate Big Data Adapters.

The role will focus on homogeneous and heterogeneous replication across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Kafka, and cloud data platforms, with particular emphasis on Oracle and SQL Server migrations to Snowflake using Oracle GoldenGate Big Data DAA Adapters.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise-grade Oracle GoldenGate replication, CDC, and migration architectures.
- Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and administer Oracle GoldenGate Microservices components, including Extract, Replicat, Distribution Service, Receiver Service, Service Manager, trails, checkpoints, and credential stores.
- Configure Oracle GoldenGate Big Data Adapters and DAA connectors for Snowflake, BigQuery, Kafka, and cloud data lake integrations.
- Implement initial load, continuous synchronization, and CDC MERGE patterns for migrations into Snowflake.
- Support homogeneous and heterogeneous replication across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms.
- Monitor replication latency, throughput, and availability; troubleshoot capture, delivery, trail, and performance issues.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical designs, deployment standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.




- Support migration planning, cutover, rollback, incident resolution, and production support activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of hands-on Oracle GoldenGate implementation, administration, and production support experience.
- Strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate 19c, 21c, and 23ai, including Microservices Architecture, Integrated Extract, Classic Extract, Integrated Replicat, Parallel Replicat, Coordinated Replicat, and Big Data Adapters.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Kafka, and cloud data platforms.
- Strong understanding of CDC, heterogeneous replication, data migration, high availability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Snowflake ingestion patterns including stage-based loading, continuous replication, and MERGE-based CDC processing.
- Good knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, data lake, and Lakehouse architecture concepts.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, SQL, Python, and automation skills.
