Job purpose:

To design, develop, enhance, and support the Radius product, delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions using modern .NET technologies. The role requires strong backend development expertise, database knowledge, product understanding, and close collaboration with Product Owners, QA, Support, and customers. Experience in ERP products is highly desirable.

Core responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and enhance features for the Radius product, ensuring scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
- Develop robust backend services and APIs using C#, .NET 8 or above, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
- Design and implement efficient database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, data modelling, and performance optimization.
- Understand existing product architecture and legacy components and contribute to the modernization and evolution of the Radius platform.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and execution, delivering committed work within defined timelines.
- Work closely with Product Owners to understand business requirements, refine user stories, identify technical considerations, and contribute to solution design.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage, support test case development, investigate defects, and provide timely fixes.
- Develop and maintain unit tests and automated tests to improve product quality, reliability, and regression coverage.
- Investigate and resolve complex product and customer issues, performing effective root-cause analysis and implementing long-term corrective solutions.
- Provide technical support for customer issues and work with Support and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production problems.
- Participate in customer discussions when required to understand issues, clarify technical details,



and help identify appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and DevOps practices to improve development and release efficiency.
- Work with Docker and containerized applications, contributing to containerization and deployment of application services.
- Contribute to cloud-based solutions and demonstrate willingness to work with modern cloud technologies and services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and contribute to Angular-based applications where required.
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar tools effectively to improve development productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, and solution exploration.
- Maintain high standards of code quality through design principles, coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, and continuous refactoring.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, database changes, and implementation details.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required experience and skills:

- 5-8 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong experience in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience with .NET 8 or above and modern backend development practices.
- Strong proficiency in developing RESTful Web APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core, including LINQ, relationships, migrations, query optimization, and efficient data access.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, database design, indexing, and troubleshooting database performance issues.
- Experience in developing enterprise applications with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.




- Experience writing unit tests and understanding of automated testing principles and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including build, test, and deployment automation.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications is desirable.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-native development is desirable.
- Experience with Angular / TypeScript or other modern frontend technologies is a plus.
- Experience working on ERP, manufacturing, business management, or other complex enterprise applications is highly desirable.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical and customer issues and identify root causes.
- Experience in application and database performance tuning.
- Ability to understand and work effectively with existing and legacy codebases, while contributing to modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, SOLID principles, clean code, and maintainable architecture.
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, debugging, code analysis, testing, and technical problem solving.
- Ability to quickly understand complex business domains and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions in an agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and execution-focused approach.
- Ability to balance speed of delivery with quality, maintainability, scalability, and technical debt management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Product Owners, QA, Support, Architects, and customers.
- Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal) required, particularly for customer-facing responsibilities.
