Insight Global are seeking a Senior Monitoring & Network Observability Engineer for a large enterprise organisation undergoing significant investment in network visibility, performance monitoring, and observability capabilities.

The Senior Monitoring & Network Observability Engineer will lead the design, implementation, administration, and optimisation of enterprise monitoring and observability platforms across a large-scale, highly available workplace. Acting as a subject matter expert, this individual will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end visibility, resiliency, and performance across network, infrastructure, cloud, and application environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in platform enhancements, integrations, automation initiatives, upgrades, and ongoing operational excellence.

Must-Have Requirements Include:

- Hands-on experience administering and supporting enterprise monitoring and observability platforms such as ThousandEyes and/or Forward Networks.
- Experience deploying and supporting ThousandEyes Endpoint Agents, Enterprise Agents, and Selenium-based Transaction Monitoring solutions.
- Experience working with Forward Networks, including creating and utilising NQE (Network Query Engine) queries.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, customising, and maintaining highly available monitoring solutions within large enterprise environments.




- Strong understanding of network performance monitoring, observability, and operational visibility best practices.
- Experience supporting platform upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and optimisation initiatives.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with scripting and automation technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Plusses Include:
- Experience integrating AI-driven capabilities into monitoring, observability, or network operations environments.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and hybrid infrastructure observability solutions.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Experience developing custom integrations, dashboards, reporting, or analytics capabilities within observability platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale network architecture, performance engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Relevant industry certifications related to networking, monitoring, observability, or cloud technologies.
