Role Description The Senior Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising process, including product planning, assortment selection, and inventory coordination for textile lines.

Responsibilities include analyzing sales data and market trends, developing merchandising strategies, and ensuring that product ranges meet customer demands and brand standards. The role involves close collaboration with production, sales, and marketing teams to align product availability, pricing, and promotional activities.

The Senior

Merchandiser will also maintain strong relationships with key customers, oversee visual and in-store product presentations,



and monitor performance to optimize margins and sell-through. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Palladam.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with internal teams and external customers.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to build and maintain long-term relationships and handle inquiries and issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to drive revenue, manage assortments, and understand store-level performance.

- Experience in textile or apparel merchandising, with a solid understanding of fabrics, trims, and production timelines.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, merchandising tools, and basic data analysis to interpret sales and inventory reports.
- Robust organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in planning and execution.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business, or a related field; prior experience in a senior merchandising role is highly beneficial.
