Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Production & Applications based in Ghaziabad. The role involves leading mechanical design and development activities for slewing bearings, slew drives, and industrial gear systems, including reviewing customer requirements and translating them into manufacturing-ready designs.

The engineer will oversee production processes, coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams, and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor to ensure reliability and efficiency. Daily responsibilities include preparing and validating CAD models and drawings, supporting R&D; initiatives, optimizing designs for cost and performance,



and providing technical support to application engineering, sales, and key customers. The role also includes managing projects, maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience in mechanical systems and industrial components.
- Proficiency in Machine Design for gears, bearings, and rotating equipment, including strength calculations and material selection.
- Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, detailing, and revision management of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, resource coordination, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D;) for improving products, processes, and manufacturing methods.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and quality standards relevant to gears, bearings, and heavy engineering components.
- Ability to analyze technical data, solve complex engineering problems, and communicate clearly with internal teams and customers.
- Experience in industrial sectors such as mining, material handling, or heavy machinery is an advantage.
