Role & responsibilities

A. Installation & Site Execution

- Plan and execute rooftop solar installations (home, C&I;) from site handover to commissioning, within committed timelines.
- Conduct/verify site surveys, structural feasibility and load assessments before installation begins.
- Ensure correct panel layout, mounting structure, wiring and inverter installation as per approved design.

B. Team, Vendor & Installer Management

- Build, train and manage in-house installation crews and empanelled local installer/electrician vendors across territories.
- Plan crew and material deployment across multiple concurrent sites; track daily productivity.
- Negotiate and manage installation vendor rates and performance within budget.

C. Quality, Safety & Technical Compliance

- Own site safety compliance (working at height, electrical safety) zero major incidents target.
- Conduct post-installation quality checks; ensure first-time-right commissioning, minimal rework.
- Ensure compliance with ALMM, MNRE and DISCOM technical standards for all installed systems.

D. Net-Metering, Documentation & Customer Handover

- Coordinate net-metering application, inspection and approval with DISCOMs (DHBVN/UHBVN/HAREDA) for every installed site.




- Ensure complete documentation installation reports, test certificates, warranty registration.
- Conduct customer handover and orientation; ensure a smooth after-sales/service handoff.

E. Reporting & Coordination

- Maintain daily/weekly installation MIS — sites completed, pending, delayed, and reasons.
- Escalate material, design or customer issues to State Head/GM in time to prevent delays.

Coordinate with sales and design teams to keep the installation pipeline realistic and on schedule.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or related field; equivalent hands-on experience also considered.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in solar rooftop installation, EPC site execution or commissioning (home and/or C&I;).
- Proven track record of managing installation crews and vendors across multiple sites simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of DISCOM net-metering processes, structural mounting, inverter commissioning and electrical safety norms.
- Comfortable with high field travel (60–70% of the time) across Haryana and Delhi-NCR.
- Proficient in MS Excel for MIS/reporting; ERP or project-tracking tool exposure preferred.
