Senior Manager Proposals (Railways) – Civil & Track

Job Purpose

Lead end-to-end tendering and proposal activities for Railway, Metro, and high-speed rail projects covering Civil & Track Works.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead tenders from pre-bid stage to final bid submission.
- Review tender documents, BOQs, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Manage estimation, costing, pricing, and rate analysis.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, vendors, OEMs, and subcontractors.
- Obtain and benchmark market rates for materials, equipment, and activities.
- Ensure technical and commercial bid compliance and timely submission.
- Identify bid risks, opportunities, and commercial considerations.
- Lead and mentor the proposal team and allocate resources effectively.
- Support negotiations and post-bid activities.





Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in civil engineering from a reputed institute.
- 15+ years of experience in Railway Construction Industry.
- Strong experience in Railway/Metro/High-Speed Rail tendering.
- Expertise in Earthworks, Structures, Bridges, Track Works, Ballasted & Ballast-less Track.
- Robust understanding of Indian Railways/Metro tender conditions.
- Strong commercial, financial, estimation, and costing skills.
- Good knowledge of Track material vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Overseas railway tendering experience is an added advantage.
