Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer (Lighting Studio) role based in Hyderabad.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for developing lighting-focused interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and creating detailed design presentations for clients and project stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, coordinating with architects and contractors, producing and reviewing construction drawings, and specifying FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) with an emphasis on lighting solutions. The role involves conducting site visits, ensuring design intent is executed accurately, collaborating with vendors and suppliers, and aligning designs with project timelines and budget requirements. The designer will work closely with the studio team to refine concepts, maintain design standards, and contribute to a cohesive client experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and specialized lighting-focused design for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.




- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination to ensure functional, aesthetically cohesive interiors.
- Ability to develop and interpret Construction Drawings, including layouts, sections, and detailed lighting plans.
- Experience in FF&E; selection, specification, and scheduling, with particular attention to lighting fixtures and materials.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present design concepts clearly to clients and teams.
- Effective collaboration and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in office.
- Prior studio or firm experience in interior or lighting design in an urban setting like Hyderabad is an advantage.
