Role Summary The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions including Recruitment, Onboarding, HR operations, Employee engagement, Performance management, Policy implementation, Compliance, Payroll processing & coordination, and organizational development. The role requires a strategic and hands-on HR professional who can build strong people practices and support the organization’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and hiring approvals.
- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, social media, and employee referrals.
- Conduct HR screening, interview coordination, salary discussions, and offer management.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions within defined TAT.
1. Employee Onboarding, Induction & Exit Interviews
• Manage joining formalities, documentation, and employee file creation.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for recent employees.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and probation tracking.
Conduct exit interviews of employees, ensure all exit formalities are done.
- Prepare F&F; Settlement Statement.
1. HR Operations
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HRMS data.
- Monitor probation confirmation, contract renewals, transfers, and exits.
- Prepare HR letters such as appointment letters, confirmation letters, increment letters,
warning letters, experience & relieving letters.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
1. Payroll & Compliance Coordination
• Coordinate monthly attendance and payroll inputs with the Finance team.
- Support PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and organizational policies.
1. Performance Management
• Drive probation review and annual appraisal processes.
- Coordinate goal setting, performance feedback, and increment recommendations.
- Maintain performance records and support leadership in employee development decisions.
1. Employee Engagement & Culture
• Plan employee engagement activities, town halls, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Address employee grievances within 24 Hrs and promote a positive work environment.
- Foster collaboration and communication across departments.
1. Policy & Process Management
• Develop, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and organizational standards.
- Support ISO, POSH, and other governance-related HR requirements.
1. Training & Development
• Identify training needs across departments.
- Coordinate internal and external learning programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
1. HR Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare monthly HR MIS reports including recruitment status, attendance, attrition, leave analysis, and manpower reports.
- Present HR insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources / MBA-HR / PGDM-HR.
- Additional certifications in labour laws, HR analytics, or HRMS will be an added advantage.
Experience
5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Service Industry, NGO, Healthcare, Public Health, or
Social Sector Organizations preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS systems (Keka preferred), recruitment, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance.
