About The Role

- The role is well suited for individuals with a strong understanding of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Inventory Systems, ERP tools, and Global Supply Chain Dynamics.
- Who can lead initiatives to continuously improve sourcing processes and supplier development strategies, while adopting current strategies to drive cost savings, improve lead times, and increase supply chain agility.
- Forecast market trends and ensure a responsive supply chain that mitigates risks and leverages emerging opportunities in materials and procurement technologies.
- Develop alternate sources to mitigate supply risks and improve competitiveness.
- Identify, evaluate,



and manage suppliers and subcontractors both locally and globally for critical components, raw materials, and equipment. Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
- Lead price negotiations and contract finalizations to ensure cost competitiveness.
- Implement inventory control. Maintain strategies for optimal inventory levels to support production and customer demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Collaborate with the Product, Finance and Sales teams to maintain competitive and profitable pricing.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics including import/export operations, freight forwarding, and customs compliance, optimizing transportation and warehousing costs.
- Manage freight partners, negotiate freight rates, and ensure timely deliveries with minimal cost.
- Provide accurate cost input(s) for product pricing and project budgeting.
- Develop KPIs to monitor and drive supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery metrics.

Conduct regular supplier audits, ensuring compliance with company standards and continuously improving supplier capabilities.

- Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and regulatory norms.
- Streamline procurement and logistics processes using data-driven decision making.




- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing functions.

Essential

- Candidate should have 20 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, inventory management and supply chain roles.
- Proven track record in printing, coding & marking, industrial automation, or related manufacturing sectors.
- In-depth understanding of inventory planning, logistics coordination, and global sourcing.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

Proven experience in leading both domestic and international procurement.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, or similar) and procurement analytics tools.
