Hirely is recruiting highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers for an AI training project with a hiring partner. The role combines software development, technical problem-solving, debugging, system architecture, and code evaluation.

You’ll work across both front-end and back-end systems, solve challenging engineering tasks, navigate unfamiliar repositories, and evaluate AI-generated solutions. This role is designed for engineers with meaningful hands-on experience across the full application stack

, rather than specialists focused exclusively on one layer.

What You'll Do

- Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components
- Build user-facing features and the APIs, services, and data models behind them
- Trace requests and data across browsers, front-end applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations
- Explore unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architecture
- Diagnose issues involving application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment
- Work across multiple programming languages and technical environments
- Evaluate and improve code written in different programming languages
- Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability
- Solve and validate challenging software-engineering tasks
- Translate complete coding implementations from one programming language into another when required

Who We're Looking For

- Strong professional experience developing production full-stack applications
- Meaningful hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end engineering




- Production experience with multiple programming languages
- Strong understanding of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integration
- Experience contributing to the architecture of complete software systems
- Ability to understand and modify unfamiliar codebases
- Strong debugging and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to reason across multiple layers of a software system
- Strong attention to correctness, performance, security, and maintainability
- Relevant languages: Python, React, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Rust, Golang, TypeScript.

Compensation & Terms

- $50-$100/hour
- Independent contractor
- Fully remote, global
