Role Overview The Senior Field Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating field-level project implementation across assigned project locations. The role will involve managing field teams and enumerators, coordinating with local stakeholders and implementation partners, monitoring project activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and maintaining accurate field documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Coordination & Project Implementation

● Lead and coordinate day-to-day field-level implementation of project activities across assigned locations.

● Develop field activity plans and ensure implementation as per approved project timelines and guidelines.

● Coordinate with field teams, enumerators, community representatives, and implementation partners.

● Ensure smooth execution of surveys, assessments, community activities, trainings, outreach activities, and other field interventions.

● Identify operational challenges at the field level and ensure timely resolution.

2. Field Team Management

● Supervise and coordinate field coordinators, field staff, enumerators, and other project personnel.

● Allocate field responsibilities and monitor daily/weekly progress.

● Conduct regular field visits to assess team performance and implementation quality.

● Provide on-ground guidance, support, and feedback to field teams.

● Ensure adherence to organizational processes, project protocols, and field-level SOPs.

3. Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

● Coordinate with local government representatives, community leaders, institutions, NGOs, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.





● Maintain effective working relationships with project partners and local stakeholders.

● Facilitate meetings, field discussions, community consultations, and project-related engagements.

● Support the project team in addressing stakeholder concerns and operational requirements.

4. Monitoring & Quality Assurance

● Monitor project activities against defined targets, milestones, and timelines.

● Conduct regular field monitoring visits and identify gaps in implementation.

● Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of field-level deliverables.

● Track project progress and escalate delays, risks, and critical issues to the reporting manager.

● Support corrective actions and follow up until identified issues are resolved.

5. Data Collection & Verification

● Coordinate field-level data collection and survey activities.

● Supervise enumerators and ensure adherence to data collection protocols.

● Conduct data verification, quality checks, and field-level validation.

● Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and errors and coordinate corrective action.

● Support the project team in maintaining accurate and updated project databases.

6. Documentation & Reporting

● Maintain field-level documentation, records, attendance, activity trackers,



and supporting evidence.

● Prepare regular field progress reports and updates for the project team.

● Track field activities, deliverables, issues, and action points.

● Maintain proper documentation of stakeholder interactions, field visits, and project activities.

● Provide timely inputs for project MIS, dashboards, donor reports, and review meetings.

7. Issue Resolution & Escalation

● Identify implementation-related challenges and resolve routine field issues independently.

● Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for timely resolution of operational challenges.

● Escalate critical risks, delays, and deviations to the reporting manager with appropriate recommendations.

● Ensure follow-up and closure of pending field-level issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Development Studies, Management, or a related discipline.

● 3–5 years of relevant experience in field coordination, project implementation, community development, CSR, NGO, social impact, research, or related programs.

● Experience in managing field teams and enumerators will be preferred.

● Experience in field data collection, monitoring, verification, and reporting.

● Prior experience coordinating with local stakeholders, government representatives, community institutions, or implementation partners will be an advantage.

● Willingness to undertake frequent field visits within the assigned geography.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
