Role & responsibilities

- Select suitable, secure, cost effective primary packaging materials for various dosage forms such as Solid Orals, Liquid Orals, Oral Care and Injectable products.
- Preparation of the Packaging Material Bill of Material (PMBOMs) for all Markets for Stability batches for various dosage forms such as Solid Orals, Liquid Orals, Oral Care products and Injectable products.
- Preparation of Master packaging card for all Markets for Stability batches of Solid Orals, Liquid Orals, Oral Care products and Injectable products.
- To apply for the item codes of the packaging materials in SAP.
- Provide support to Formulation development, CQA, Purchase and regulatory departments EU, US, ROW and Domestic with respect to primary packaging materials.
- Coordinate with Plant team and R&D; QA, Plant QA for Documents Review and approval.




- Raising packing material Indent for R&D; as per request by F&D.;
- Finalize sizes of primary packing material as per required pack size.
- Preparation of the packaging material specifications.
- Preparation of the Standard Testing Procedure for packaging materials.
- Preparation of Container closure system reports.
- Preparation of Threshold reports.
- Preparation of Innovator characterization reports.
- To do the innovator characterization of the packaging materials of the RLD.
- To co-ordinate with the vendors and Purchase to arrange the drawings, COAs, Technical specifications and regulatory documents.
- Well versed with SAP related activities.
