- Monitor day-to-day movement of material from warehouses (PAN India), including storage, picking and dispatch to various project locations or warehouses.

- Ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space and appropriate storage practices.

- Monitor warehouse SOPs, processes and operating controls.

- Drive FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.

- Ensure timely disposal/return of obsolete, damaged, excess and non-moving inventory in coordination with business teams.

- Ensure physical inventory accuracy and reconciliation with SAP records.

- Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock audits.

- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages and excesses.

- Monitor ageing, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.

- Ensure proper documentation and system transactions for all material movements.

- Support internal, statutory and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

- Support Lead- Logistics & Warehouse in transportation of materials between warehouses, project locations.

- Plan and optimize transportation based on cost, lead time, load utilization and delivery requirements.

- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement, dispatch, tracking and delivery.

- Monitor freight costs, fuel surcharge (FSC), detention, demurrage and other logistics charges.

- Ensure timely delivery and obtain appropriate Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.

- Develop and maintain a reliable logistics partner network.





- Manage relationships with transporters, 3PL partners and warehouse service providers.

- Evaluate vendor performance against agreed SLA/KPI parameters.

- Periodically benchmark freight and warehousing costs.

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all warehouse and logistics transactions in SAP.

- Preparation of STOs, SRNs, goods receipts, goods issues and other relevant transactions.

- Ensure system stock and physical stock remain aligned.

- Identify process/system gaps and coordinate with IT/SAP teams for resolution.

- Implement measurable cost-saving initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and SCM controls.

- Minimize risks relating to inventory loss, damage, pilferage and unauthorized movement.

- Ensure logistics and warehouse operations are audit ready.

- Work closely with Finance, Projects/Deployment, Sales and Operations teams.

- Understand business/project requirements and align material movement accordingly.

- Provide regular visibility on inventory, dispatches, deliveries, logistics costs and operational issues.

- Escalate critical supply/logistics constraints proactively.

Qualification

- Any full time Bachelor's degree.

- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations would be an added advantage.

- Working knowledge of SAP systems and hands on experience in advanced excel to handle large scale data.
