Role Description The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Costing is a full-time, on-site role based in Hoshiarpur. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing product cost sheets, tracking material and manufacturing costs, and comparing standard costs with actuals to identify variances.

The role includes coordinating with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and timely data collection, as well as supporting pricing decisions and budgeting.



The individual will review cost structures for recent and existing implements, assist in cost optimization initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to management. The role also involves maintaining compliance with internal controls and supporting audits related to costing and inventory valuation.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems for data analysis, cost sheet preparation, and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, finance) and present clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and capability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CMA/CA (inter) are an advantage.
- Experience in agri-equipment or heavy engineering manufacturing is beneficial, along with familiarity with BOMs and inventory management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
