Role Purpose Statement

This is one of the strategic focus portfolio team created to focus on the Global Capital projects engineering and global engineering design standards development as a Subject Matter Experts. This team is key to support the forecasted business capital investment projects in on-going and coming few years.

This role is to work closely with Electrical lead and for technical review of design documents/drawings/calculations of Capital projects for Bunge globally for various electrical systems (HV/MV switchgear, Transformer, LV Switchgear, MV & LV MCC, PDB’s, Generator, UPS, Battery Charger, Batteries, Lighting, Lightning, Grounding, ELV, Bulk, CHP, Instruments index, selection of instruments , datasheets, specifications, BOQ , control system network etc.), review of cost Estimate (Phase-1 to Phase-4), 3D model review, manage & control Design Database- current & previous projects, develop and review the world class global engineering standards and development of benchmarks for Electrical works.

Main Accountabilities (Major areas of responsibilities):

- Support design engineering & develop technical specifications for HV/MV switchgear, Transformer, LV Switchgear, MV & LV MCC, PDB’s, Generator, UPS, Battery Charger, Batteries, Lighting, Lightning, Grounding, HV/MV/LV Cables, ELV, CHP,ELV-CCTV, access control, various deliverables for Instrumentation & control automation system with key focus on quality, safety, sustainability, efficiency & reliability.
- Development & review of design basis based on the scope for aforementioned systems along with other relevant documents viz. PID, SLD / calculations / Schematics / layouts / technical specifications / Datasheets/drawings/BOQ for all projects and global standards.
- Work with latest design software’s like AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, Navisworks, ETAP, DIALUX etc.
- Implementation of energy reduction, sustainable, cost competitive & futuristic technologies in design.
- Cost estimation for the designed systems, System and cost benchmarking.
- Develop/update the world class global design standards for aforementioned systems. (NEC/EN/IEC/IEEE/NFPA/NEMA/NETA/CE/ISO etc.)
- Ensure that projects are prepared in line with Bunge Best practices, policies, guidelines, national and international norms and standards.




- Co-ordination with various project teams for the global projects.
- Procurement support such as vendor selection, Request for Quote and Bid Evaluation, etc.
- Co-ordinate with other engineering disciplines.
- Vendor Document review and approvals.
- Development of global supplier database and continuous engagement.
- Provide technical service in terms of training to employees & vendor development.
- Engage with Bunge working groups (Energy / Reliability / Safety) on global plan and projects, new technologies and best practices sharing.
- Cost and engineering database development and benchmarking.
- Expertise in Excel/automating the routine NVAs.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies

- Experience with industrial design & specification of such installations, Experience of applicable national and international norms and regulations (Specially Europe & North America)
- Must have good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and food Industry hygiene standards.
- Must have experience in large scale capital greenfield & brownfield projects.




- Well versed with the design and engineering aspects of Electrical & ELV, Instrumentation & control systems and working knowledge on communication with the approving authorities for compliance of such systems.
- Hands on experience in design software’s- AutoCAD / Autodesk Revit / ETAP / DIALUX / Navisworks, etc.
- Knowledge on the various DCS/PLC hardware and software Automation Platform preferably- Siemens, Allen Bradley.
- Ability to carry out and review engineering along with cost estimation with the drive to optimize the CAPEX
- Able to connect with internal and external stakeholders e.g., Factory teams / Global working group teams / Suppliers / engineering service partners.
- Strong Project management & leadership skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

Education/Experience: Should be a first-class graduate in Electrical from a Premier Institution (BE / BTech)

Around 7-10 years’ experience in Food/FMCG/Edible Oil industry (knowledge of process technologies like crush, refining would be an added advantage) in Global Engineering design, Project Planning, and Plant expansion projects, Electrical Equipment selection & Team Management (For Electrical tagged items, ELV System, Instrumentation, control system & Bulk items) of which minimum 3-5 years in Global Engineering function handling engineering and cost estimation.

Added advantage if have proficiency in USA / Europe codes.

Requirements

- Experience: 5–10 years in engineering design with exposure to global capital projects (candidates with European market experience are preferred).
- Positions: 1 candidate per discipline (Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical).
- Location: Goregaon, Mumbai (5-day work from office, flexi-hours).
- Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for face-to-face or virtual interviews.

- Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering
- Salary Budget: INR 0.75 to 1.5 Lacs per month (9 LPA to 18 LPA)
- Age Limit: 28–40 years
- Contract Duration: 1 year

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
