About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Service Engineer to lead electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service activities for solid waste management machines.

The candidate will be responsible for handling service operations, guiding junior engineers, resolving complex electrical issues, and coordinating with internal and client teams to ensure smooth machine installation and operation.

The company is involved in machine installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and technical support for waste management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of electrical systems and control panels.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults, wiring issues, control panel problems, and machine breakdowns.
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Guide, train, and supervise junior electrical/service engineers and technicians.
- Allocate service tasks and monitor the work of junior team members.




- Provide technical guidance and support during installation and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, QA, and other technical teams for resolving electrical issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel drawings.
- Conduct machine trials, electrical testing, inspections, and final handover.
- Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and customer sign-offs.
- Train client operators on secure and efficient machine operations.
- Handle customer communication and provide technical support during service visits.
- Identify recurring technical issues and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company protocols.
- Travel PAN India for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service requirements.
- Independently manage service assignments and ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical systems, wiring, control panels, circuits, and machine electrical components.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
- Positive knowledge of PLC, sensors, relays, contactors, motors, VFDs, control panels, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong fault-diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in leading or guiding junior engineers/technicians.
- Good team-handling and coordination skills.
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of service activities.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
