Role Description The Senior Director – Corporate Fundraising is a full-time, on-site role based in Recent Delhi. This position leads the development and execution of corporate fundraising strategies, cultivating high-value partnerships that support Habitat for Humanity India’s programs and impact. Daily responsibilities include identifying and engaging corporate prospects, managing relationships with major corporate donors, and overseeing proposal development, presentations, and negotiations.

The role involves collaborating with program, finance, and communications teams to design compelling funding opportunities, track performance against fundraising targets, and ensure effective stewardship and reporting to corporate partners. The Senior Director also monitors market trends in corporate philanthropy, provides strategic guidance to senior leadership,



and represents the organization at external meetings, events, and networks.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in corporate fundraising and managing relationships with major donors, including high-value corporate partners with 15 to 20 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of philanthropy and annual giving, with experience designing and implementing comprehensive fundraising campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft persuasive proposals, deliver presentations, and engage effectively with senior corporate stakeholders.
- Proven strategic planning skills, with a track record of setting measurable goals, analyzing performance, and adapting strategies to achieve ambitious targets.
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, or related fields, preferably in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public policy, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring staff and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and travel within India as required for donor meetings, events, and field visits.
- High level of integrity, commitment to Habitat for Humanity’s mission, and sensitivity to working with low-income and marginalized communities.
