About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong AI/ML development experience to design, develop, and integrate intelligent applications and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background combined with hands-on experience building applications using Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Machine Learning, and AI APIs. The candidate will work closely with software engineers, architects, DevOps/SRE teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable software applications incorporating AI capabilities.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Build AI-powered applications using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Develop and integrate AI agents and agentic workflows for business automation and intelligent decision-making.
- Integrate commercial and open-source AI models through APIs and SDKs.
- Work with models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or equivalent technologies.
- Design and implement prompt engineering, context management, evaluation, and AI guardrails.
- Develop REST APIs, microservices, and backend components required to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Implement AI solutions using Python and/or up-to-date backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, or .NET.
- Work with databases including SQL/NoSQL databases and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector, or equivalent.
- Develop data ingestion and processing pipelines required for AI/RAG solutions.
- Optimize AI applications for performance, scalability, cost, latency, and reliability.
- Implement automated testing and evaluation frameworks for AI applications.




- Collaborate with DevOps/MLOps teams to deploy and operate AI workloads in cloud environments.
- Apply security, privacy, governance, and responsible-AI principles when developing AI solutions.
- Conduct technical analysis, troubleshoot complex production issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, architecture decisions, and best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical leadership within the development team.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, models, and development practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python and at least one additional programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, clean code, and system architecture.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

- AI / Generative AI
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML or Generative AI applications.

- Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AI/ML deployment and MLOps/LLMOps practices is highly desirable.
- Understanding of application observability, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

- Experience building enterprise-grade AI applications.
- Experience taking AI/ML solutions from POC to production.
- Experience with AI model evaluation, fine-tuning, or model customization.
- Experience with cloud-native AI services.
- Knowledge of AI security, data privacy, model governance, and responsible AI.
