Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Design Engineer (Electrical) – AEC role is based in Bengaluru. The position involves leading electrical design projects within the AEC domain, including planning, designing, and reviewing electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure.

The Senior Design

Engineer will create and validate detailed CAD drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensure designs comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and client specifications.

Responsibilities include performing technical analyses, supporting product and system design improvements, mentoring junior engineers,



and collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders to meet schedule and quality targets. The role also requires documentation of design decisions, participation in design reviews, and continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with experience in leading end-to-end design projects in the AEC sector.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering expertise, including building services, power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering and Product Design skills to collaborate effectively on integrated building systems and engineered products.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related software used for electrical and AEC design documentation.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related discipline); a master’s degree or professional certifications in AEC or building services engineering are an advantage.
- Experience working in AEC projects, familiarity with BIM workflows, and knowledge of local and international building codes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on design quality, safety, and reliability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
