Looking or a Credit Analyst on the Leveraged Finance team, so corporate credit analysis across a range of sectors and geographies, UK, Europe and US.

Develop technical research skills and market/corporate bond knowledge

Provide good quality credit analysis, timely recommendations and informed credit comment to the Global Credit team within select sectors.

Tasks include

1. Provide analytical and administrative support to the Global Credit team
2. Contribute towards ad hoc research, client requests & reporting and RFPs
3. Ensure client presentation slides and credit examples are kept up to date and contribute towards creating new ones
4. Attend weekly Global Credit and Fixed Income meetings
5. Demonstrate proactivity, a developing degree of self-management and eagerness to learn
6. Build effective coverage of a limited number of names within a sector demonstrating appropriate levels of coverage intensity across capital structure, rating and levels of security. Demonstrate an emphasis and improving understanding of relative value and an effective integration of ESG considerations

Present thoughts and recommendations effectively both in an informal and formal setting and a demonstration of adherence to RLAM’s evaluation approach/framework
8. Timely coverage of current issue names/trade opportunities including deeper dive fundamental analysis
9. To act independently but with an understanding of the need for regular engagement and interaction with the team

Knowledge or Skill Level - minimum

- Graduate or graduate calibre with a relevant or numerical degree or equivalent (2:1 or higher)
- Has Masters or working towards CFA Qualification; CFA Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing
- Willingness to learn – VBA and Python
