Role Description The Senior Cost Manager role at WT (India) is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.
The Senior Cost
Manager will lead cost planning, estimation, and cost control activities across the project lifecycle, including feasibility, design development, procurement, construction, and close-out. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets, managing cost reports and cash flow forecasts, conducting value engineering and cost risk analyses, and advising stakeholders on commercial and contractual matters.

contribute to improving cost management processes and tools, and support business development activities where required.
Qualifications
- Strong cost management and quantity surveying skills, including cost planning, estimating, budgeting, and cost control for property, construction, and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in contract administration and commercial advisory, including tender review, bid analysis, change management, and claims evaluation.
- Experience with project management and portfolio/program advisory, including stakeholder coordination, reporting, and risk and value management.
- Awareness of carbon, sustainability, and lifecycle costing, with the ability to integrate sustainable solutions into cost advice.
- Comfort with digital solutions and cost management software, including spreadsheets, estimating tools, and project collaboration platforms.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Several years of proven experience in a cost management or quantity surveying role, preferably with exposure to large or complex projects.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to present cost information and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
