Required education and certifications critical for the role-

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent English, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively in a global working environment.

Required years of experience – 2+ years of relevant experience in advanced data analysis, insight generation, stakeholder advisory, designing and building scalable, automated reporting and analytical solutions.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The Senior Consultant – People Analytics is a senior individual contributor within People Operations and reports to the Senior Manager – People Analytics. The role handles complex workforce reporting and analysis, turning broad business questions into clear approaches, insights, and options.

The Senior Consultant brings deeper analytical expertise, operates with greater independence, and coaches and advises other People Analytics consultants and People Organization representatives on reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools. The role supports specialty/ analytical People Organization projects and helps resolve key data issues. The role does not carry formal people-management or team-capacity accountability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The colleague is responsible for:

Complex Analysis and Insight

- Analyze complex or cross-functional workforce data questions and independently present options to resolve them.
- Integrate and interpret People data to identify material trends, relationships, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop clear narratives, options, and recommendations that support workforce and People decisions.




- Support analytical initiatives or workstreams from requirement gathering through delivery and stakeholder communication.
- Provide analytical support for business reviews, talent activities, and strategic People initiatives.

Coaching, Enablement and Quality

- Coach, train, and advise Consultants and People Partners on key reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools to drive effectiveness and efficiency in People Organization processes.
- Check complex or high-impact outputs before they are shared, while the Senior Manager – People Analytics retains accountability for the team quality process.
- Develop reusable analytical approaches, dashboards, templates, and guidance that strengthen team capability and consistency.
- Advise stakeholders on the effective use and interpretation of reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools.

Stakeholder Consulting

- Partner with aligned People Organization leaders and teams to unpack data questions and co-develop solutions that meet their current and future reporting needs.
- Challenge assumptions constructively and explain analytical findings, trade-offs, limitations, and recommended actions.
- Build trusted relationships across People Operations, People Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, People Analytics, and other relevant teams.
- Escalate material delivery, resource, or stakeholder issues to the Senior Manager – People Analytics.

Data Quality and Process Support

- Support investigation of complex data quality or reporting issues and coordinate with relevant data, system, and process owners.
- Apply consistent data definitions, reporting standards, documentation, and responsible use of People data.
- Identify and help deliver opportunities to automate, standardize, and scale reporting and analytical solutions.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned, based on business need.

- Complex analysis is rigorous, clear, actionable, and valued by stakeholders.
- Analytical projects are delivered with appropriate independence, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
- Consultants benefit from effective technical guidance and reusable methods or solutions.




- Complex data issues are investigated thoroughly and progressed through appropriate ownership and escalation routes.
- Reporting and related processes become more consistent and efficient over time.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :

- Strong experience in workforce reporting, People data, or a related analytical field.
- Advanced Excel supported by working proficiency in the wider Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven experience building reports and dashboards in Workday reporting, Power BI, or equivalent — not only consuming them.
- Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including work with complex or ambiguous questions.
- Works independently on analytical initiatives and presents options to resolve complex data inquiries.
- Coaches’ others on analytical methods, tools, quality, and communication without formal people-management authority.
- Strong stakeholder consulting, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Applies sound data quality, governance, and documentation practices, with responsible handling of sensitive People data.
- Highly organized and agile, with the ability to work with limited direction and prioritize complex workloads.
