Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee civil design and execution for waste facilities, with a focus on site layout, infrastructure, and stormwater systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering designs and drawings, conducting site assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

The role involves planning and monitoring construction activities, managing contractor performance, and resolving technical issues on site.

The Senior Civil

Engineer will also support project scheduling, cost estimation, and quality control, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with project managers. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai,



with a mix of on-site / office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The role will place itself in the midst of a growing founding technical team of the company in start up phase.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with proven experience delivering infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams of Civil Engineers, with the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance.
- Demonstrated skills in Planning, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of construction activities.
- Hands-on experience in Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related environmental and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency with civil design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and safety-focused mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Experience in waste-to-energy, renewable energy, or industrial infrastructure projects is an advantage.
