Senior Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Online We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with robust hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and bookkeeping.
Key Requirement
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is mandatory
- Previous professional bookkeeping experience is mandatory
- Candidates without practical QBO experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Assist with month-end closing
- Prepare financial reports and account schedules
- Review transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books in QuickBooks Online
- Perform other accounting and bookkeeping duties as required Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Professional bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with bank reconciliations, AP, AR and general ledger
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills Preferred:
- Experience working with international clients/companies
- Experience in transportation/logistics or similar industries
- Experience with payroll, GST/HST or other tax-related bookkeeping tasks How to Apply:
