Role & responsibilities

Work together with Senior Structural Engineers, Engineers and Designers to produce complete, coordinated and high-quality project information (3D model, 2D drawings, BoQ etc.) on time and on budget to meet agreed Level of Detail (LOD) and other project expectations. Undertake multi-discipline coordination activities with all relevant members of the design team to ensure that efficient and integrated structural 3D model and 2D deliverables are produced on all projects. Perform reviews sufficiently in advance of all deadlines, such that any necessary amendments can comfortably be completed prior to issue as agreed. Ensure all 3D & 2D deliverables are thoroughly checked independently and ensure all errors are corrected prior to issue of the documents. Ensure Health and Safety is considered at all stages of the design process such that the designs produced minimize risk during construction while exceeding the host/client's expectations. Ensure high standards of presentation are maintained in all documents issued by the team. Supervise and monitor all work by designers in the team,



to maintain a high standard of work always.

Plan, forecast and manage workload of self and other designers in the team so that project requirements are met. Work as necessary to meet deadlines and agreed programmed dates while maintaining high standards and adaptable in helping others meet their deadlines, as necessitated by the needs of the business. Comply with the DES policies and procedures for all the projects. All other activities as assigned by the Manager. Extensive knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam and AutoCAD. In-depth knowledge of Level of Detail (LOD) in Building Information Modelling. Thorough Knowledge and experience in creating Revit family of Structural elements. + Good Understanding of Structural Design solutions is required.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, PDF document generation and management. Previous work experience with EPC firm or Design consultancy is preferred. + Good written and verbal communication skill.
