Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle SQL, and REST API development, along with experience building secure, maintainable, and production-ready enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
- Develop robust and high-performance REST APIs for enterprise applications.
- Implement data persistence and database interactions using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
- Design and optimize Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, indexes, and database interactions.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established software engineering practices.
- Implement application security using Spring Security and OAuth2.
- Work with Maven for dependency management and build automation.
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito.
- Containerize applications using Docker / Docker Compose.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
- Ensure applications meet requirements for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

- Good understanding of database design and Oracle SQL performance optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to independently handle technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
