About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automobile Technician to handle the inspection, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles and agricultural equipment used in our agri-input store operations. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of automobile and agricultural machinery and be capable of independently diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of company vehicles and agricultural equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.

- Handle preventive maintenance and ensure vehicles/equipment remain operational.

- Work on tractors, pickups, commercial vehicles, and other agricultural machinery.

- Identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs or replacement of parts.

- Maintain service records, repair reports, and maintenance schedules.

- Coordinate with external workshops, mechanics, and spare-parts suppliers when required.

- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment.

- Conduct safety checks before vehicles and machinery are put into operation.





- Monitor spare-parts requirements and maintain basic inventory records.

- Guide junior technicians and support staff in technical and repair activities.

- Respond to breakdowns and provide timely technical support when required.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of relevant experience as an Automobile/Tractor/Heavy Vehicle Technician.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of automobile and agricultural machinery.

- Good understanding of engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and basic diagnostics.

- Experience working with tractors and agricultural equipment is preferred.

- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

- Knowledge of commonly used automobile tools and diagnostic equipment.

- ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

- Valid driving licence is an advantage.

- Ability to work in field conditions and travel when required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
