Position : Senior Automation Testing (Playwright Automation & Typescript)

Experience : 8 to 9 Years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 Days (Not more than)

Location : Chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
- Develop automation frameworks using Java and TypeScript.
- Create and maintain reusable automation components, utilities, and test libraries.
- Analyze functional requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Execute automated regression, functional, smoke, and integration testing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report application defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Perform cross-browser testing using Playwright/Selenium.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test execution results and provide detailed defect/test reports.
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.




- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve automation framework efficiency, stability, and test coverage.

Mandatory Skills:

- Solid hands-on experience in Playwright.
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of API testing.
- Experience with Git/GitLab/GitHub.
- Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins/GitLab CI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Good defect management and troubleshooting skills.
