Role Description The Senior Auditor will lead and execute audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting for clients in various industries.

Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and identifying areas for process and control improvements. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior team members, coordinating with clients for information gathering, and preparing clear, well-structured audit documentation and reports.

Auditor will also support taxation and assurance assignments as needed and contribute to developing best practices and methodologies within the firm. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong auditing and assurance skills, including planning, execution, documentation, and reporting for statutory and internal audits.
- Sound understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Knowledge of taxation principles and compliance requirements, with experience supporting tax-related reviews or advisory work.
- Proficiency in using audit and accounting software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for data analysis and working papers.
- Excellent communication, client-handling, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain findings and recommendations clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including mentoring junior staff and coordinating work within project timelines.
- Solid analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred; relevant experience in audit or assurance at a similar level is highly beneficial.
