Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Associate-Tax Support located in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with the Tax team to ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes/ Goods and Services tax for entities in India and identify potential tax planning/ saving opportunities under these laws. Also identify any compliance gaps and address them.
- Support to tax team on direct tax / Corporate income tax matters including compliance, assessments, and litigation.
- Independently handle returns and other filings under relevant direct and indirect tax laws in India.
- Working with business units in particular GAFS, Logistics, Global Trade, etc to gather data and documents necessary for filing returns,



preparing tax submissions to filed with Government Tax Department and ensuring compliance with relevant direct and indirect tax/GST regulations
- Assist the tax team in representations (ie, preparing and filing submissions, clarifying queries and working with tax officers) before direct and indirect tax/GST authorities on compliance matters
- Any such engagement / assignment which may be proposed from time to time.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree specialising in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3-5 yrs experience handling corporate tax and indirect tax
- Strong knowledge and experience in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with Tax Law and regulations, including understanding of the latest policies and updates.
- Proficiency in Finance-related tasks and skills, with the ability to analyze financial data for tax purposes.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and teams.
