Position Details: The Fund Finance, FI Coverage, GCIB EMEA is the product office for fund finance in EMEA. MUFG is a prominent lender in the fund finance market with teams based in New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Singapore and London. Fund finance is a growth strategy in EMEA. The requirement is to support part of the portfolio management function for Subscription Facility/Capital Call transactions for MUFG in EMEA.
Roles and Responsibilities Day-to-day support across the Subscription and FX line portfolio following transaction close, including conducting detailed due diligence, financial spreading, credit analysis and underwriting of subscription/ capital call facilities and FX limits. If capacity, support the Product team on requests related to new transactions. Management reporting, stress testing and audit support. Borrowing Base and collateral monitoring (including LP review refresh) Covenant testing, breach tracking, and compliance oversight on a regular basis Filing reporting packs (compliance reports, financials, borrowing bases etc.)
and reviewing compliance certificates and Borrowing Bases to flag any breaches/LP defaults Post-deal closing process according to the checklist (e.g. creating a fee memo, deal success slide, tombstone, internal reporting files, etc.) Supporting deal leads in coordinating with stakeholders for queries and requests related to transactions Updating various internal transaction dashboards, reports and trackers on a regular basis FX ISDA/CSA monitoring and limit monitoring, including escalating breaches Support with annual reviews, amendments, waivers, borrower ratings and credit submissions. Standalone FX and Subscription line annual reviews and Combined Subscription line and FX annual reviews Support internal teams with monitoring, reconciliation, and tracking of fees and revenue Manage Debt Domain portfolio related requests (new LPs, reporting, new Borrowers, waivers). Co-ordination of NDA signoffs / execution, plus filing Preparation of presentations for Management reporting, Credit Committee meetings etc. Preparation of periodic sector reports and stress tests of the portfolio (e.g. political/geographical changes, exchange rate volatility, liquidity crisis) Oxane Platform Support: Play a key role in supporting MUFG’s use of the Oxane Panorama platform, including regular feeding of updated transaction data onto the platform and onboarding new deals, ensuring high-quality data, robust monitoring, and reliable reporting across Fund Finance activities Personal Requirements: Excellent communication skills Results driven,

Experience: Experience of Subscription Facility /Capital Call transactions and portfolio management Credit analyst working in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) / Centre of Excellence (CoE) set up Basic understanding of structured finance 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience Essential Functional/Technical Competencies: Strong understanding of financial statements / credit analysis of bank credit facilities Proven experience and interest working across Funds Finance, and a range of facilities such as subscription / capital call facilities and/or foreign exchange/derivatives an added advantage Solid proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word and other credit related applications. Must possess excellent communication and report writing skills. Strong team player with attention to detail, collaborative attitude and diligence. Ability to understand macroeconomic environment and assessing impact on the borrowers / portfolio. Attention to details, sensitivity towards timelines, ability to handle multiple tasks in various stages, and problem solving mindset.
