Role Description The Senior Accountant will oversee the company’s financial accounting operations, including general ledger management, monthly and quarterly closing activities, and preparation of financial statements. This full-time, on-site role in Delhi, India involves managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and vendor statements, and ensuring accurate recording of revenue and expenses. The role includes monitoring cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting audits by maintaining proper documentation and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.

Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams on cost control, inventory accounting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and business growth. This role may also involve mentoring junior finance team members and helping improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis,
and financial reporting for management.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit support practices relevant to India.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) is preferred.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, growing organization.
