Accountant – Softel Technologies Inc.

Softel Technologies Inc. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. The candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in routine accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate and updated accounting records.
- Prepare and process receipts, payment vouchers and cheque entries.
- Calculate and process TDS deductions.
- Handle GST-related accounting entries and maintain relevant records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly expense reports.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and assist with NOC preparation.
- Handle accounts-related email communication and queries.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and accounting records.
- Manage multiple accounting activities and complete tasks within deadlines.

Requirements




- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts and accounting entries.
- Hands-on experience with TDS, GST, bank reconciliation, receipts, payments, and vouchers.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Experience with Tally Prime is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in society accounting or a CA firm will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Location Preference Candidates residing in Mumbai and preferably on or near the Western Line (Dadar to Virar) will be ONLY preferred.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
