About the Role

Lalganga and Kamal Laxmi Group is looking for a Head Accountant to lead accounting and statutory compliance across our multi-vertical business group (manufacturing, cinemas, real estate, and retail). This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can own the books end-to-end and work directly with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end TDS and GST compliance — computation, return filing, reconciliation, and timely payments
- Oversee AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) tracking, renewals, and vendor payment schedules
- Manage insurance policy tracking — renewals, claims coordination, and documentation across business units
- Liaise with government departments for statutory filings, audits, licenses, and compliance-related correspondence
- Perform regular bank reconciliation across multiple accounts and business entities
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, ledger maintenance, and monthly closing
- Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure audit readiness




- Review and consolidate MIS/financial reports for management
- Manage and mentor a small accounting team

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA-Inter/M.Com preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior/head accountant capacity
- Strong hands-on knowledge of TDS, GST, and Indian statutory compliance
- Proven experience handling bank reconciliation, AMC/insurance tracking, and government liaison work
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel/Google Sheets
- Based in or willing to relocate to Raipur
- Robust attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently
