Role Description The Senior Accountant at JAIN MARKETING will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. The role involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing statutory compliances, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

Accountant will also review financial data for accuracy, implement internal controls, and collaborate with management to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions. This is a full time,



on-site role based in Kochi, requiring close coordination with the finance team and other departments.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliances, taxation, and regulatory reporting relevant to the region.
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor internal controls and standard accounting procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in distribution, trading, or manufacturing environments.
