Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, reviewing journal entries, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting statutory and internal audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

Accountant will coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve financial queries, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights for business decision-making.

Responsibilities also include reviewing reconciliations, monitoring internal controls,



and contributing to process improvements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess competency in audit-related work, such as supporting statutory and internal audits and reviewing internal controls and compliance processes.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, including direct and indirect tax, basic tax planning concepts, and preparation or review of tax returns and related documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis, budgeting support, forecasting assistance, and management reporting.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with accounting software and productivity tools, such as Tally, ERP systems, advanced Excel, and other relevant financial applications.
- Candidates should possess robust communication and client service skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly, collaborate with teams, and handle client interactions professionally.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent professional certification is preferred; candidates with substantial senior-level accounting experience in practice or industry will be considered.
- Attention to detail, integrity, ability to work to deadlines, and willingness to stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements are essential.
