We are looking for a confident, energetic, and result-oriented Academic Counsellor (Tele Marketing Staff) to join our admissions team. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students, understanding their educational and career requirements, explaining suitable academic programmes, and converting enquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Handle incoming student enquiries and provide accurate information about available courses.
- Understand students' educational background, career goals, and course preferences.
- Explain course details, eligibility, duration, fees, admission procedures, and academic processes.
- Follow up regularly with interested students and maintain proper communication until admission completion.
- Convert leads/enquiries into successful admissions through effective counselling.
- Maintain and update student/lead information in CRM, Excel, or other tracking systems.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly admission/telemarketing targets.
- Coordinate with the admission and academic support teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Respond professionally to student questions and resolve basic admission-related queries.
- Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups, enquiries, and admission status.
- Build positive relationships with prospective students and provide continuous guidance during the admission process.
- Participate in admission campaigns, promotional activities, and counselling events when required.

Required Skills

- Strong counselling and convincing ability.

- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, Word, WhatsApp, and CRM software.
- Ability to handle multiple student enquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Professional attitude and valuable customer-handling skills.

Educational Qualification
- Minimum Plus Two / Degree preferred.
- Previous experience in telemarketing, academic counselling, education consultancy, customer support, or sales will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered.
