- Oversee all security operations and manage a team of security personnel to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees, and hotel assets
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with Fairmont standards and local regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive measures
- Monitor and manage access control systems, surveillance equipment, and security technology to maintain optimal operational effectiveness
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, accidents, and emergencies with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and government authorities on security matters and compliance issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security operations and guest safety
- Develop and deliver comprehensive security training programs for hotel staff,



including emergency procedures and guest interaction protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation for audit and review purposes
- Manage security budgets, equipment procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency
- Conduct regular security audits and inspections of all hotel areas, including guest rooms, back-of-house, and perimeter security
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and security agencies to enhance property protection
- Evaluate and recommend security technology upgrades and innovations to strengthen the hotel's security posture

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive security management experience in a luxury hospitality environment
- Proven expertise in security operations management and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and security technology
- Excellent incident response and crisis management capabilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in security risk assessment and threat analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
- Comprehensive understanding of emergency procedures and business continuity protocols
