Job Title: Security Guard

Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant, reliable, and qualified Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring access points, patrolling the property, and responding swiftly to security incidents or emergencies. The ideal candidate possesses excellent observational skills, remains calm under pressure, and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSurveillance & Patrols

- Area Patrols: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols around the perimeter and interior to deter unlawful activity.
- CCTV Monitoring: Watch live surveillance camera feeds and security monitors to identify suspicious behavior.
- Facility Inspections: Check that all windows, doors, gates, and building access points are securely locked and functional.

Access Control & Visitor Management

- Gatekeeping: Authorize the entry and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to company protocols.
- Credential Verification: Check identification badges, manage sign-in logs, and issue temporary visitor passes.
- Screening: Operate security equipment, such as metal detectors or X-ray machines, and conduct bag checks when necessary.

Emergency Response & Enforcement

- Incident Intervention: Respond immediately to alarms, disruptions, or medical emergencies.
- De-escalation:



Evict trespassers or violators from the property using legal protocols and appropriate, minimal force if necessary.
- Emergency Coordination: Contact and collaborate with local law enforcement, fire departments, or emergency medical services during crises.

Reporting & Maintenance

- Security Logs: Maintain an accurate daily activity log documenting operations and observations.
- Incident Reports: Write detailed, objective reports regarding property damage, theft, unauthorized presence, or unusual occurrences.
- System Testing: Inspect and test security equipment regularly to ensure operational use and detect tampering.

Requirements & Skills

- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or similar role (preferred).
- Licensing: Valid state security guard registration or license (e.g., SIA license, guard card).
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR certifications are highly advantageous.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to stand or walk for extended periods and handle physically demanding situations.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with two-way radios, CCTV surveillance software, and basic computer reporting tools.
- Key Traits: Strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, outstanding public relations, and a professional appearance.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
